Exclusive: Kevin Fowler Shares What He Was Wearing While Writing ‘Beer Me’ [Watch + Listen]
Sometimes, when inspirations strikes, you have to stop whatever you're doing and write. That's what Kevin Fowler did with 'Beer Me' from 'How Country Are Ya?' and in this video exclusive, he shares the funny story of what he was wearing when the song was written. Hint: it wasn't much!
"I woke up one morning and I was just singing this little thing," Fowler recalls with a laugh.
As he sang and began writing 'Beer Me,' he knew he couldn't take the time to move to a different location -- much less put on a respectable outfit -- because there was a chance he'd lose his groove.
"I was sittin' there on the edge of my bed in my underwear and my boots, true story," he dishes.
It paid off, because Fowler's track made the cut on ‘How Country Are Ya?’ The album is available for pre-order on iTunes here. Taste of Country will continue debuting the rest of the tracks for Fowler’s fans, as well as the stories behind the songs, through the album's release date on March 4.
