Miranda Lambert's "Vice" has officially gone platinum.

The single, from Lambert's 2016 double-disc album The Weight of These Wings, was the first song from the project to hit country radio and her first song from the album to earn platinum certification. It previously received Grammy and ACM nods for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song as well as Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year nods.

The straightforward song wraps itself in visual imagery, while exploring human emotion, mistakes and imperfections (which is vintage Lambert): "Standing at the sink not looking in the mirror / Don't know where I am or how I got here / Well the only thing that I know how to find is. ... Another vice / Another call / Another bed I shouldn't crawl out of / At 7AM with shoes in my hand / Said I wouldn't do it, but I did it again / And I know I'll be back tomorrow night."

Female Trailblazers Who Are Changing Country Music

Written by Lambert, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, "Vice" was followed by radio singles "We Should Be Friends" and her heart-wrenching ballad "Tin Man." The trio of songs assisted the entire 24-song Weight of These Wings album in reaching platinum status in July 2017. The project is Lambert's sixth studio album to date.

The country singer recently wrapped up her summer tour in the states and has embarked on a near three-month international tour that lands in England, Ireland, Canada and more. For one show, she'll return to the non-continental U.S. with a Sept. 25 date in Anchorage, Alaska.
