RaeLynn Signs Record Deal With Republic Nashville

Country’s latest firecracker RaeLynn has signed a recording contract on the same label that the Band Perry calls home. ‘The Voice’ contestant announced the news Friday (July 13) on Twitter, thanking the two country superstars who helped guide her through the process.

“It’s Official America. I’m a Republic Nashville recording Artist!!! Thanks to @NBCTheVoice, @blakeshelton, @Miranda_Lambert and my FANS!!!” RaeLynn tweeted, adding later, “Thank y’all for making my dream come true!! I’m so happy and excited and so pumped!!!!”

Roughstock reports that the Baytown, Texas born 18-year-old will perform for the first time with her labelmates at the NASCAR Spring Cup race at Indianapolis Speedway on July 29 (Crown Royal Presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard, powered by Big Machine Records).

In addition to the Band Perry, Eli Young Band, Martina McBride, Greg Bates and Sunny Sweeney are on Republic Nashville. The label is a sister label to Big Machine Records, the home of Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts.

“Congratulations little sis!” Blake Shelton tweeted to the Texas teen on Friday afternoon. RaeLynn was on Shelton’s ‘The Voice’ team, which eventually produced winner Jermaine Paul. No details are available about how quickly she’ll release new music.
