It’s sad to think that next week is Regis Philbin’s last week of hosting ‘Live with Regis & Kelly’ after 28 years. The show will continue, of course, as Kelly Ripa signed a new, five-year contract yesterday, but it won’t be the same without this household name.

The last week, however, looks like a good one. Besides the teary goodbyes and the flashback montages, they’ve got a great guest list, including stars like Kathie Lee Gifford and David Letterman.

On November 14, Don Rickles and Jimmy Fallon will stop by the studio, and Donald Trump will appear the next day. David Letterman makes a rare appearance on the 16th, choosing to appear on someone else’s talk show for once. Kathie Lee Gifford will stop by to say goodbye on the 17th to the guy she shared the desk with for so many years.

The guest list for the last show on the 18th hasn’t been announced, though perhaps it will just be Regis, Kelly and Gelman reminiscing about the Regis years.

On the following Monday, November 21, the show will become ‘Live with Kelly,’ and we’ll see a rotation of various co-hosts until they settle on a permanent guy. First up: Jerry Seinfeld.

Here are some of the montages they’ve been showing on ‘Live’ the past month.
