5 Do-Not-Miss Montana Festivals
I think spring is here and then we see just a hint of snow. Either way, it's coming sooner or later. I love summer and everything that goes with it. Billings Motorsports Park Speedway reopens, Billings Bike Nights start up, again, and all the summer festivals.
I'm from a small town in Nebraska so I would love to travel to some of the smaller Montana towns to enjoy a couple of these festivals. Which ones are your favorite? Did I miss one that you think I should attend this summer?
- 1
Testy Festy
Not for the family, for the serious partier. If you want to relive your spring break days. This is the festival for you.
- 2
Polson Main Street Flathead Cherry Festival
Bring the whole family to this one: pie-eating contest, dancing, shopping, and cherries as far as the eye can see.
- 3
Evel Knievel Days, Butte
This happens every July in Butte. Motorcycles, BMX, mountain bikes, skateboards and other activities.
- 4
Huckleberry Festival, Trout Creek
For the past 30 years, Trout Creek has celebrated the huckleberry. Lots of family fun and tons of activities.
- 5
Montana Folk Festival
Takes place in Butte. Live music? I'm in!
