A Veteran’s Day Salute to All Who Have Served Our Great Country

Today, we received an outstanding e-mail from a loyal listener that says it better than we ever could.

"Good Morning Flakes,

Thank you for honoring our nation's Veterans.  Their sacrifice and love for their country is a wonderful gift to America.  I write this e-mail to you guys every year in honor of my grandfather.  He is 93 years old and he fought for our country in World War II.  His stories about growing up during the Great Depression and going off to war are terrifying and mesmerizing. The kind of man who can go through those  hardships, marry his love and raise a beautiful family is truly a testament to why his generation is known as the greatest.
