Police Shoot Gunman Dead at Walmart in Amarillo, Texas

A Walmart employee in Amarillo, Texas, has been killed by police after taking other employees hostage. All workers are now safe. The gunman's name has not been released yet.

There does not seem to be a connection to the recent mass shooting in Orlando, Florida. According to police, this appears to be a "workplace-type incident."

Various law-enforcement agencies are on the scene addressing the situation.
