Carrie Underwood Reveals Title and Cover Art of New Album
Carrie Underwood is known to have two of the best legs in the business, and she’s decided to show them off on the cover of her upcoming album. ‘Blown Away’ — Underwood’s fourth studio album — will be in stores May 1.
The album cover was shot by Randee St. Nicholas, who also took the eye-catching photos of the Pistol Annies last summer and Miranda Lambert alone last fall. Underwood’s silver gown floats in the wind in the photo, similar to the one Hillary Scott wears on the cover of Lady Antebellum‘s ‘Own the Night‘ album, except the blonde superstar sports a slit that makes Angelina Jolie’s seem mild in comparison.
On Monday, Underwood revealed the album cover in pieces on her official website. Every twenty minutes a new section was revealed, one by one, until fans got a full look at the dark and stormy scene St. Nicholas captured. Fans will have to wait until May 1 to find out if the music will mirror the brooding clouds.
