No Peanuts @ Montana Lils! Elephant Storms Through Butte

This morning, while rubbing my eyes and trying to wake up, I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across an ad for the Jordan Circus coming to Billings. Of course, I saved it for later, to write about here at TSM Billings... but little did I realize I would be doing so, so soon.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No... it's Dumbo?

Ok, it isn't dumbo. But this elephant IS from the Jordan Circus, and I am sure they are just enjoying their day to the fullest. Thankfully, the awesome people of Butte were rapidly pulling out their phones to catch the action...

The elephant was first caught on tape cruising across Harrison Avenue this morning, going right over the curb (what a bad driver) and straight into the Montana Lil's Parking lot.

Deciding that gambling is too expensive, and not wanting to lose its peanuts on the slots, the elephant continued on its path with handlers in tow!

Finally, two handlers catch up to the elephant in what appears to be someone's yard. Imagine waking up to an elephant in your front yard...

Successfully calmed down, the elephant and handlers begin their walk back home.

Luckily for them, and Butte, "Home" didn't seem TOO far away. Looks like the Circus is set up just next to the Casino, as the Butte Civic Center is just next door.

At last, Butte's long (few minutes) national nightmare (eventful morning) has come to an end.

Now, this begs the question... do I REALLY need to buy tickets to the circus in Billings? Turns out, we might get a show for free... if the elephant takes a stroll again.
