The "One Big Beautiful Bill" passes the US Senate. Montana's Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) highlights tax relief for working families.

Shortly after we wrapped up our radio show at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning the breaking news started to flash- the US Senate passes the "One Big Beautiful Bill."

The first response to land in my email inbox came from Senator Sheehy.

Sen. Sheehy: "From securing the border, to strengthening our military, to preventing the largest tax increase in history while implementing no tax on tips and overtime, the One, Big, Beautiful Bill delivers huge wins for working-class families across the country and revives the American Dream. I’m proud to see it pass the Senate. Montanans and Americans spoke clearly on November 5th: they expect us to deliver on the America First agenda, and they can rest assured I’ll keep fighting to unleash prosperity and restore common sense in our nation’s capital.”

Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) released a video statement celebrating the passage as well.

Senator Daines: "The big, beautiful bill that just passed the Senate is a big win for Montana. We prevented the largest tax increase in US history, and made President Trump's 2017 tax cuts permanent. We passed no tax on tips to help Montanans in the serving industry. We provided historic funding for the border, including the northern border, and for the US military. We're making America safe again. We protected Montana farmers and ranchers from the harmful death tax so our family farms can thrive for generations. We rolled back harmful Biden era red tape rules so our full energy potential can be unleashed. These are just a few of the wins in our big, beautiful bill. Montana's future is bright and we're just getting started."
