Endorsements Released for Billings Mayor, City Council Candidates
*First published Sept. 24, 2025 so the debate has already taken place.
There's a debate in the race for mayor, and a forum for Billings city council candidates. This, as endorsements are now coming out for these important city elections right around the corner.
Before I get to that- let me say to our readers and listeners outside of Billings...if you have important info, endorsements etc when it comes to municipal elections elsewhere across Montana- please send them our way.
Back to Billings- I did see that the Yellowstone County Republican Women have announced an upcoming debate and a candidate forum.
Central Committee is hosting a council forum followed by a mayoral debate. This event begins at 6:30 pm, Billings Library Community Room, Thursday, Sept. 25. The hourlong forum will be moderated by Kurt Anthony. Immediately following will be an hourlong debate with David Knobel moderating.
The Yellowstone County Republican Women also added, "We hope that you will join us in supporting the conservative candidates for City Council and Mayor races."
Our Council is definitely in need of fiscal conservative leadership so please come and support those candidates. Spread the word! Also be sure to VOTE. These races have traditionally had low voter turn-out so this is the time for conservatives to shine!
Endorsements:
Mayor: Jennifer Owen
Ward 1: David Redmon
Ward 2: Denis Pitman
Ward 3: TJ Rogers
Ward 4: Dan Tidswell
Ward 5: Tony O'Donnell

One other note that I would add: It's been so great to see all of the folks showing up for Charlie Kirk and his Turning Point USA family. Do it for Charlie. What would Charlie want you to do? I can't speak for him or his family, but I would bet Charlie would want you to show up for every single one of these elections. Don't just wait for Congress and President- show up in these important local races too.
That's my opinion, and other folks are certainly welcome to sharing theirs.
