Jake Owen has announced the release of his next full-length studio album, Greetings From ...Jake, on March 29. This marks Owen's first release on his new record label, Big Loud Records, which he signed to in 2017.

The album's lead single, "I Was Jack (You Were Diane)" was an homage to young love that also gave a nod to John Mellencamp, and it became Owen's seventh No. 1 hit when he released it to country radio in 2018. The album's follow-up single, "Down to the Honkytonk," is currently in the Top 10 and climbing.

"The momentum of 'I Was Jack' and 'Down to the Honkytonk' has really made this album release special," Owen tells the Tennessean.

Greetings From ...Jake is the follow-up project to Owen's American Love, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The upcoming release is produced by previous collaborator Joey Moi, who also worked with Owen on his major hits, "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," "Alone with You" and "Beachin'."

"Greetings From...Jake is a pure representation of who I am, where I've been, what I love and where I am going," the singer says. "It's a fresh hello from a point in my career where I feel so comfortable and fulfilled. I cannot wait for everyone to hear what we've been cooking up."

The Greetings From ...Jake cover art features old-time postcards, which is a reference to Owen's Floridian roots. In each of the letters, you see something that's an important part of him, including a golf course, the ocean, a truck and even a nod to his current single, "Down to the Honkytonk."
