With his 2015 The Big Revival tour right around the corner, Kenny Chesney is eagerly preparing to return to a life on the road.

"I'm anxious to get back out there and feel the energy again, and feel that connection, especially now with my new music," he tells Country Countdown USA. "It's just going to be a really fun experience."

Chesney's massive tour kicks off in March, with stadium shows starting in May. The Revival run will feature Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, Cole Swindell and Brantley Gilbert at various stops along the way. Chesney is understandably excited to be able to perform alongside such talented entertainers throughout the course of his tour, and he's vocal about it.

"I’ve missed that sense of community and that passion for the music," the star says. "There’s gonna be some stuff from the new record and songs people haven’t heard in a while. There’s gonna be a whole lot of music and some surprises. We’re going to have a lot of bells and whistles out there. But I want to make it all about the music."

Chesney wants his tour to be geared toward his fans, who have been ardent supporters of his entire musical career. "This is really about us and the fans … the fact that every year, so many people make their summer about coming to see us," he notes. He adds that the tour is his way of giving back to those who have helped him throughout his prolific career.

The Big Revival tour — in support of the album of the same name — kicks off on March 26 in Nashville.
