Look At Me

I think that everybody's got a few in their universe. The Narcissist. The one who always needs to be the center of attention. The person who makes every conversation about them, even if it started out about you.

There's an old joke. The narcissist says "enough about me. What do YOU think about me?"

Mariah Carey is supposed to be a big one. Same for Madonna and Kanye West. And I don't have a real issue with successful narcissists. They made it by believing in themselves. Grandaddy Wilson used to tell me "It ain't braggin' if you can back it up."

If you never ask others how they're doing. You're one.
