Mark’s Lost Hit

I don't know if this happens to you. Do you ever wake up with a certain song in your head and just ca't seem to get rid of it until you hear it? Happens to me a lot. And, it happened again this morning. For some reason the guitar riff (solo or "ride") was playing on my brain today at 3 a.m. when I got out of bed. Unlike most people, I can solve my song issues by playing them on the air here at work.

Roseanne Cash was a staple of country radio from about 1980-1987. So many of her good songs have fallen off of radio station playlists. Her "Rhythm & Romance" album was great all of the way through. And if you need a song to play for your dad to let him know what he means to you, then "My Old Man" is just what the doctor ordered.
