Montana’s Most Haunted Location
As you may have known from Halloween, I am one for the paranormal. It's something that has intrigued me for a while now. In fact, one of my wife's and my favorite thing to do on a Friday night is pull in the marathons of Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. A case of Mountain Dew and a few trips to the bathroom while watching this show on a Friday Night and I am complete. Love it.
One thing about it, wherever I live, I love to do the research and scope out the locations near me that are said to be haunted. When I lived in Boise, I can testify that the Old Idaho Penitentiary is haunted. My family and I toured it a number of times and saw a few unexplained things.
I recently came across an article that names the No. 1 place in each state. Of course, Idaho was the Penitentiary. For Montana, they say it's another prison -- the Old Montana Territorial Prison. Ghost Adventures actually did a lockdown at this prison and it was amazing some of the things they saw while they were there.
It seems like a lot of this stuff occurs at old, abandoned prisons.
