As one-half of the new morning show, I thought it would be fun to share with you a behind-the-scenes look from my point of view.

From car stereos to mattresses, broken cell phones to tanning salons, here are two dozen local jingles that are probably buried in your head.

The only exception is when you have somebody call in for the same song at the same time every day.

So that got me thinking about how most radio stations quit playing a song that's as big as that one was. "Achy Breaky Heart" comes to mind as another one that we played to death, followed by just not playing one day. As the guy PLAYING the song, I get it. Songs burn out. You CAN play them too much. But I've heard "Amarillo By Morning" far more times than I heard Billy Ray's song. I heard Achy Breaky a couple of hundred times real close together.

35 years ago, when I was the music director of the station, I opened every envelope. I listened to every song that was sent to us. Then, I reported our "adds" to a couple of music magazines.

Thursday, March 1st is our 30th anniversary of being on the air in Billings. On our show that day, I'd like to hear from you folks about the memories that you have had with us. Basketball games, Flakes Trip winners, who's won the most things from us (Kevin Brunsvold), graduation speeches...
