On tap this weekend of course the 100th Anniversary of MontanaFair that kicked off today and runs through next Saturday August 15th.

The curtain had barely fallen on MontanaFair last year when the bulldozers moved in, leveling three antiquated, 1930s-era barns and stables. Bulldozing the outdated and dilapidated structures paved the way for a modern, 25,000-square-foot, $1 million Ag Barn. The facility, which can house up to 100 stables for horses and livestock, is part of a long-term capital improvement project at MetraPark. R

Young people of all ages will have access to an all-new, re-imagined destination at MontanaFair that was designed especially for them to explore, discover and connect with art and handmade crafts. There's plenty to see and do at MontanaFair without spending more money after gate admission. Plus if you pay attention to the daily deals, you can get at least $2 dollars off gate admission any day, and sometimes certain age groups are free. Even if you spend a fortune on the carnival and food, you can enjoy these acts on the midway without spending another dime.
