I was born in the southern U.S. and raised by a 21 year Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and his hard working, successful, Tennessee born bride. They set the bar pretty high for their three kids...so I decided to just walk under it and go into radio at age 16. After years of "town to town, up and down the dial", I made my way to Billings in 2005. That turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It lead to a great job, and the love of my life, my daughter, Eliana. I'm happy to be raising her in a place with a great mix of conservative family values and progressive ideas about inclusion and embracing the differences in people (provided they are not too liberal or from California).

If you're into one of a kinds with Montana theme subjects, you should check out Elton's site AtouchOfMontanaArt.com. He told me he hasn't had a lot of visitors this year, so if Fromberg is out of the way (most likely, it is), then Elton will happily sell you a quality piece over the internet.
American Girl Doll Camp at Moss Mansion
My daughter is already at the age where dolls don't get a lot of attention, but she loves making things, so this seems like a good fit. Honestly...anything to get her making something other than slime.
Could This Be The New Montana Farm Truck?
Most of the people I know who actually use their truck as a tool to do serious work are pretty pretty brand loyal. Ford, Ram, GMC...whatever camp they're in, it's typically not easy to talk them out of it. However, I'm wondering how many people would switch teams if the Tesla truck delivers what the rumors say
GPS Sends Almost 100 Drivers To The Middle of A Field
If I were stuck in traffic and my phone told me it had a plan to get me out, I might throw a Hail Mary and go for it no matter how weird it seemed (hey..at least we're moving, right?) - but it's a good reminder that you can't just blindly follow the advice of technology (even Google gets in wrong sometimes).
Fake Owl Vs. Real Snakes
My sister lives in South Carolina and she was having issues with Copperheads in her yard. Those things are not only poisonous, but can be aggressive; definitely not a snake you want to encounter while walking barefoot through your backyard. She bought a few of these fake owls and put them up along her fence line and they haven't seen a snake since. Coincidence? Maybe. But it certainly seems like the fake owls did their job.

Is Gluten Free Worth The Money?
Is it a benefit to spend the extra cash to try to avoid these evil glutens? Well, let me be clear that I am not a doctor and it's not my intention to dish out medical advice, but many of the smart folks who are qualified say that there are no real benefits to most people. If you have celiac disease or have been advised by a doctor to avoid gluten, I'd say you should probably take that advice. If, however, you just started paying more for things labeled "Gluten Free" because you think that gluten is inherently bad, you might just be throwing away money.
How Early Do You Really Need To Be At Billings Airport
Most airlines tell you to arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to departure and for many airports, that is sound advice. As for our airport here in Billings, I had gotten a little spoiled - showing up only 45 minutes before departure and still spending 30 minutes of that waiting at the gate.
