Saturday's weather is looking great for the 31st annual Spring Fest on the lawn of the Moss Mansion. This is an event I look forward to every year; probably because it's been awhile since I've milled around outside in the sunshine amongst a crowd of strangers. In addition to the artsy stuff and vendor booths, you'll also enjoy live entertainment and plenty of food is available.
For many of us checking out the Christmas tree displays at the Moss Mansion are an annual holiday tradition, but I'm always surprised when I meet someone born and raised here who has yet to step inside the Moss Mansion. The history of the Moss family is fascinating and I think the house is definitely worth a tour. Christmas is a great time to check things out because there is something about the decorations that makes the rooms feel alive.
