The breweries (with TV's) downtown were packed nearly an hour early today at 1pm in anticipation of the 2pm kickoff of USA v Belgium in the Round of 16 at the World Cup in Brazil.

On Sunday a buddy of mine and I went to a well known downtown watering hole to watch Team USA's World Cup Soccer match with Portugal (They tied 2-2 in case you were wondering). We arrived about 5 minutes before game time and to our surprise was met with the crowd you see above.

I went to Montana Brewing Company expecting to find a fairly empty room at about 5:30 to watch the last half of the USA's opening match vs. Ghana in the World Cup.

One of the most popular sports around the world, soccer (or should we say, football) is super fun to watch.
