The breweries (with TV's) downtown were packed nearly an hour early today at 1pm in anticipation of the 2pm kickoff of USA v Belgium in the Round of 16 at the World Cup in Brazil. While most Americans lament the lack of scoring in soccer there is no doubt that the level of play and individual skill is amazing at the World Cup level and add love of country into the mix and the atmosphere, even here in little ole' Billings, is electric.

As you probably know by now we lost to the Belgians in extra time by a score of 2-1 after a scoreless first 2 halves and while the loss is disappointing there is much to look forward to when we take on the world in Russia for World Cup 2018. Tim Howard set World Cup records today in a super human effort with over 15 saves and up and coming 19 year old striker Julian Green... who scored the only goal of the game just minutes after coming in as a late substitution.

We'll be ready. Will the world be ready?
