Some might say that getting a first tattoo at the age of 42 might be the beginning sings of a midlife crisis. Those people may be right, but I've actually wanted one since my teen years. My problem has always been "What do I like now that I'm going to like 50 years from now?" When I would walk into a shop and check out the art on the walls or flip through binders, there was nothing that meant anything to me. I never wanted a tribal eagle, barbed wire, Bugs Bunny, Chinese characters, or any other trendy thing.
At our St. Patty's Pub Golf Tournament earlier this month, I saw a dude with a Montana tattoo. I understand state pride, was raised in Nebraska.

With July 4th coming up, a lot of us are getting in the patriotic spirit with firework GIFs and festive food. But you know what? Celebrating 'merica doesn't only have to happen once every July. These people are showing off their patriotism year round!

Competition was stiff tonight for the 2012 CMT Music Awards for the CMT Performance of the Year award. Thanks to CMT’s television shows, series and specials, there have been plenty of rocking live shows aired on the television station this year. But none beat out Jason Aldean, who took home his first gold buckle ever.
