Blake Shelton Tornado Victims Benefit On Cat Country Tonight From 7-8pm
The tornado that struck in Moore, Oklahoma a week ago Monday has destroyed peoples homes, their workplaces and in some cases... families. Over 50 people and 20 children have died and scores of others are healing in Oklahoma City area hospitals. As they begin to pick up the pieces it's up to Americans to do what we do best... reach out to our fellow Americans in need with emotional and financial support. One of those Americans doing his part is Oklahoman Blake Shelton who gathered some of his best friends from country music to create a special show tonight on NBC to benefit the victims of the tornadoes and we are proud to air it tonight from 7 to 8 on Cat Country 102.9.
Grammy Award-winning artists Miranda Lambert, Reba and Vince Gill will perform among others and the phone number, text numbers and websites to donate to the United Way of Central Oklahoma's Tornado relief fund will be on-screen.
