As Paul and I were walking out of the hotel yesterday, we ran into a group kids representing Joliet's B.P.A. They wanted to let everybody know about the party that they're putting on. They are calling it "The largest school carnival in Montana"...

Round one goes to Emily Pennington, the junior at Billings West High School with Down Syndrome, who wants to graduate with her class next year even after she turns 19. Last night at the school board meeting, it was the first opportunity to address the age-out policy known as 2050...

Folks, the ballots go out next week for the mill levy and school board candidates. Send them a message, take charge of your schools, it's that important.

As decent human beings, we must make sure that this never happens in Montana again.

We've heard from many employees of the school district who are furious but fear retribution from the district if outspoken.

Many of them had living quarters in the back where the teacher would live and most early students only went through the eighth grade.

The school systems in Montana are administrative-heavy and we would be much better served to put that money into good quality teachers.
