We were in Helena over the weekend and the kids in our group got treated to a spin on the carousel there. But, right next door to it was an even better experience.  ExplorationWorks.

It's a science museum. It has displays that feature mirrors, hurricane force winds, and even a honeycomb with a colony of bees that you can sit and watch.

But, for our kids, the giant "Pin Board" was where we spent the majority of our time. You can press your hand, your face or your entire body into it. It was pretty cool.

And outside, there are plenty more things for the kids to see and play with.

And, in a related story, you can go back into the carousel area and have ice cream.
