After hearing about the guy who was speaking at a graduation ceremony and paid off the entire class's student loans, it made me think about the greatest things that I've been given.

I'm exempting people from this topic. Yes, your wife/husband/child/cousin/nephew/etc is your greatest gift. I'm talking about stuff. A tangible gift someone gave you.

My grandfather, Les, gave me the love of golf. Now, Les wasn't my biological grandpa. But, he made sure to pick me up early on those summer mornings and take me to the course.

For Christmas in 1978, he bought me a season pass for our course. I knew that those things cost $28 and I was amazed.

I'm not much better at golf then I was 40 years ago, but it's still my favorite way to spend an afternoon with family and friends.
