Nostalgia often leads people to look back on certain times with rose-colored glasses, but there are days I miss the simplicity that the 1980s seemed to have.

Were The 1980s A Simpler Time In Montana
I don't know if the 1980s were a simpler time, but I would argue those of us who grew up during that time would say they were.
Today there are a million distractions, but in the 80s you maybe had 4 channels of television; the phone only rang when someone wanted to talk to your parents, who by the way kicked you out of the house until the streetlights came on.
In that era, there were also items you'd see in your home, your grandparents home, and all your friends homes as well.
