Can you stereotype how people dress in Billings?

Think about it. If I asked you to describe what someone wears in Bozeman or Missoula, I know right away what you will probably say. Or, how do people dress in Miles City?  But Billings... we're a little bit of everything. Sure, there are plenty of puffy Northface vests and Berkinstocks in the Magic City, but you're just as likely to see someone in a Carhart jacket or a tank top.

Everybody loves the classics, though.

I love that retro rock and roll tee shirts never seem to go out of style. In fact, they seem to be an extra-hot ticket this fall, with the throwback logos and brands experiencing a resurgence of mass appeal. Middle-aged dads such as myself obviously dig the designs, but so do the kids.

My boss's 11 yr old has this same Nirvana shirt.

Does a preteen really love Nirvana? I should have asked him. Maybe it's just the sweet, simple logo that someone born in 2011 enjoys.

Target has a stack of cool shirts.

My wife got me a bunch of these reproduction music icon tee's for Fathers Day this year, and I love them. I'm pretty sure she ordered them online, but when I stopped by the West End Billing store on Monday (8/8) they had a decent selection in stock.

Retro brand shirts.

You know you've made it as an American marketing success story when people pay to get a tee shirt with your business logo on it. Budweiser and Dr Pepper seem to have done a great job.

Buy your kid a shirt like this.

I don't know what the "must-have" brands are this year for junior and high school kids, but I think you should probably send them to the first day of school with a Highway to Hell shirt just to set the tone. They can't go wrong with a classic.
