Coming up THIS Friday, we finally have Friday The 13th back in October. Ya know, it's been since 2017 since we had Friday The 13th land in October... and this is the last one until 2028, so enjoy it if you want.

However, if you are superstitious... I have a feeling that this Friday is going to bring you a lot of stress and anxiety. In the event you need a few things to avoid, here are my top 5 things to avoid on Friday The 13th:

Yes, this one might be the hardest to do... but if you REALLY want to, you could avoid the entire day. Maybe sleep it away, taking the day off from work, ensuring you run into no trouble.

4: Mirrors

Unless that mirror is firmly glued to a wall, you might want to be careful around it. Nobody wants 7 years of bad luck from breaking a mirror.

3: The Number 13

Easier to avoid than the entire day, simply avoid writing the date. Or looking at the date on your phone/computer. Or the channel 13.

2: Ladders

For our construction friends out there, this one is going to be next to impossible, but you certainly could try it. Mainly, don't walk under a ladder. But that should be common sense year-round anyhow.

1: Black Cats

Sorry, little void owners. That sweet little black cat might be insanely cute and cuddly, but it is the #1 thing to avoid on Friday The 13th... at least according to the lore. Though, coming from a family with multiple black cats... I think you'll be fine. Just cross the cat's path, rather than letting it cross yours!
