Bake Your Favorite Cookies for Yellowstone Christian Academy

Remember school bake sales?

Whatever the extracurricular activity or club, Moms baked plates of tasty cookies and cupcakes to sell as a fundraiser.  Each was fifty cents or a dollar and the club earned a hundred dollars or more from the event.  Never heard of anyone getting sick from a cupcake, unless they ate half a dozen at a sitting.

The Yellowstone Classical Christian Academy in Joliet Montana will receive no government funding, and hence no government strings.  The flip side of this is that YCCA has to raise money to renovate their building, hire teachers and staff.  The goal to get this school off the ground is $400,000.  To help reach that, supporters Stephanie and Virginia will host a Bake Sale/Yard Sale on September 13th and 14th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This fundraiser will be at 101 South 1st Street in Joliet.

They need baked goodies for the Bake Sale

If you agree with a classical education for our youngsters and want to support the YCCA, you can write a check, but you can also make batches of your favorite treats for the bake sale.  These goodies must be delivered to Stephanie Shanks by September 12th at 9:00 p.m. at 6802 US Highway 212, just south of Red Lodge.  Her home is a gray house right on mile marker 68.  Questions?  Call Stephanie at 406-321-2946.

More than just Cookies

Another sale for the YCCA will be a big yard sale.  Are you needing more clothes, books, a dining table and chairs, or anything else that you don't want to spend a lot for?  Come to the Yellowstone Classical Christian Academy in Joliet and find your next treasure to further complete your home.

BBQ on Saturday the 14th

Enjoy a meaty lunch at the YCCA between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then have dessert at the bake sale then shop the yard sale.  You can give a little time and money to support great education for the next generation.
