Big Raffle at Ace is a School Lunch Fundraiser in Laurel 8/17
Back-to-school time is right around the corner and one common stressor for many parents is keeping funds in their student's school lunch account. When my always-hungry pre-teen/teen son was still in school he was always maxing out our account because he would a) eat breakfast at home b) have breakfast at school c) have lunch at school, and d) order ala carte items at school.
We'd constantly receive automated phone calls from the school, reminding us that our account was overdrawn and we'd scramble to put money back in the account.

Food insecurity is a real problem in Montana, with data indicating that 1 in 7 children live in homes that struggle with hunger. 115,000 Montanans report food insecurity, and between 2020 and 2023 there was an 83% increase in Montanas who couldn't afford enough food.
School is tough enough for some kids, and going to class all day hungry surely doesn't help. Stop by Laurel Ace Hardware on Saturday, August 17th for a chance to help and potentially win some fantastic prizes.
Laurel Ace Hardware's Vendor Show and End of Season Customer Appreciation Day isn't just about bargains; the event will also feature a raffle with around a dozen nice items, many are higher-ticket goodies. Standouts include a Sthil MS 211C chainsaw, a Milwaukee M18 Packout Radio + Charger, and much more.
Raffle tickets for the Laurel School Lunch Fund are $5 each or five for $20. The event is from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 17th with a BBQ, vendor reps, and more. Need not be present to win.
