The Answers

1.  It's actually Rice.

2.  Sam Adams

3.  Coors

4.  Sierra-Nevada

5.  The year is the important clue.  Who was President in '77?  Jimmy Carter.  Who was his brother?  The fun-loving, beer drinking Billy Carter.  The name of the beer was Billy.

6.  The Horseshoe.  But it was set to resemble an arch.  Superstition says tacking a horseshoe on the wall so it looks like a U will hold the luck in like water in a cup.  Tack it upside down like an arch will let the luck run out.

9.  Yeungling, pronounced "Yingling"

10.  Bourbon.  Yow, 14% ABV!  Gotta try this one.
