I've received some weird mail in my time. Usually, it's because I ordered something online that didn't turn out like the pictures. But I don't think we even ordered something in this situation. Boxes were received at our station today, and it left me stunned, perplexed, just plain dumbfounded. This could be a scam, so let this be a warning, Billings residents. Let's see what was in our package, shall we?

It Looks to be Four Computer Mice

When we got these boxes, I was at first surprised that we had ordered four computer mice. I have no idea why we needed that many, because we have a lot of spare mice in our offices. The boxes looked quite damaged as well, which doesn't surprise me too much, as packages can sometimes get damaged in transit. The boxes, however, did not contain computer mice.

Both of the white boxes ended up falling apart in my hands, only containing bubble-wrapped weights to give the illusion of being full. The two black boxes that claimed to have "gaming" mice actually just contained one small stylus each, as well as another weight to make it feel heavier than it actually was. What in the world is going on with these?

There are a lot of scams going around involving Amazon deliveries. Our own Nikki V talked about this exact situation, known as the "Brushing Scam." If you get a package at your doorstep but it's not what you ordered, you may have been scammed. Make sure everything you order is exactly how it's advertised. If you didn't order anything, it's likely someone trying to get a review of their product, in which case, it's all a ploy for you to give your information to a company that may not even exist. Take caution, and don't give any information away to shady sites or companies.
