*Story first published Friday, October 10th.

Remember that Billings Skyview High School teacher who was under investigation after allegedly celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Whatever happened? Here's the latest. Plus, death threats have been levelled against Montanans raising questions and concerns.

First: Let me tell you that I followed up with School District 2. All they told me is that "the teacher remains home until the investigation is completed."

So that is the official word.

But: You might recall that it was Cat Holley who first broke this story on X, and she has a new report out stating that the teacher in question has now been re-assigned from Skyview High School to adult education.

Now: Death threats have been levelled against Cat and her followers on X who have shared her posts and concerns about this teacher.

All of this is documented on X below. And let's just say- law enforcement should be tracking what's happening. They've been notified as I understand it.

I asked School District 2 if the decision has already been made to re-assign the teacher to adult education and did not receive a response back.

Here is what Cat Holley shared on X, though: "Dan Johnson has been removed from a Billings high school and is now teaching at the Lincoln Center away from young developing minds. Dan's safety was considered in this needed move because the students were very upset about his behavior. Dan has now leaned on the teacher's union and the ACLU in Montana (@MontanaFed) to sew more chaos stating he is being reassigned because he is g*y. No Dan, you were reassigned because the parents and students had enough of your shenanigans in the classroom. We are now focused on educational principles not devisive rhetoric. There is a board meeting being held on October 20th at 5:30pm at the Lincoln Center in Billings. My source in the school district is asking for the public to join and provide comment to counter the massive protests that are scheduled to take place."
