We had a great time on the radio the Friday before the 4th of July weekend. There was just one big problem- our Internet to our radio studios was DOWN. We had a great conversation going. Then- a couple of Brits popped into our studios. But none of it made our podcast because the Internet was down.

Thankfully our studio computer still captured the audio.

So what were the Brits doing in our radio studios here in Montana?

A crew from the UK Telegraph was planning on interviewing me after the show Friday. They wanted to talk about Montana's ban on the Communist Chinese-owned app TikTok.

They ended up showing up a few minutes early to snag some video of a couple of us chatting on the radio. We figured, why not mic up the British guy too? That's when Steven Edginton with the UK Telegraph joined us on the radio.

Edginton and his camera guy travelled to the state capitol in Helena and interviewed Montana's Attorney General Austin Knudsen (R-MT). They took in a rodeo in Bozeman, went to Yellowstone, and then came to Billings for our conversation.

This was the point of the discussion that I found most interesting, aside from previous discussions over banning TikTok. Edginton was asking me about the internal politics of banning TikTok in Montana. I told him how our liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) initially spoke in support of a ban on the app, but then flip-flopped after the Governor and the Legislature delivered.

Why is that? Edginton wondered.

I think it's because the very same Leftist Democrats that apologized or promoted the Communist Soviet Union when I was a kid in the 1980s are the same Leftist Democrats who are apologizing for or promoting the Communist Chinese now. Tester's Democrat party base will attack American businesses all day long, but don't you dare try to ban a Chinese company from doing business in Montana.

Here's part 1, 2, & 3 of the audio of our chat with the crew from the UK Telegraph:
