The third annual Lifting Lives Music Camp is slated for June 18 through June 22 in Nashville, with country superstars like Luke Bryan, Lauren Alaina, Big & Rich, Brett Eldredge and Jana Kramer set to take part in the festivities at the event. It’s for a good cause, so it’s refreshing to see these country artists carving time out of their beyond busy schedules for something so beneficial to others.

The Lifting Lives Camp is a residential program open to musically inclined individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s part of the Academy of Country Music’s Lifting Lives initiative and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.

CMT
reports that during camp, Williams syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder that results in an elfin-like appearance, as well as other developmental disabilities, will be studied. There will be plenty of music performance and education taking place to enrich the lives of those participating, including a songwriting workshop with both Eldredge and David Lee Murphy.

In addition to the workshop, there will be a recording session with Bryan and producer Paul Worley, while dinner and karaoke with Alaina will be offered. A cookout with Kramer is also planned!

As if that wasn’t enough, the camp concludes with a bang. Campers will perform with Big & Rich at the Grand Ole Opry. Now that’s what we call a show-stopper and a way to wrap up an incredible couple of days.
