Nobody Takes The Train Anymore

Have you ever ridden a train on a trip? I'm talking one that goes farther than the Charlie Russell Choo Choo out of Lewistown.

Back in the 70's, my family took the Empire Builder from Shelby to Spokane. And even tough is was many years ago, I can still recall how majestic the scenery was as we were going through Glacier National Park.

And this has been on my mind since I saw an ad the other day talking about how you could buy a train ticket for $213.00 that will take you coast to coast. That would be a cheap vacation.
