As runners in the Montana Marathon made their way into Billings on Sunday morning, they got a boost from a couple of local boys, and their creative signs.

With temperatures expected to be in the upper-80's this weekend, Billings will make the most of what's left of summer with an art walk, food truck event, and 26.2 mile run. Not to mention a chance to see some of Montana's most iconic movies back on the big screen.

Optimal conditions for running a marathon have temperatures in the lower 50's, according to a report in Shape.com. 51.8 degrees to be exact for a 26.2 mile run.

The Montana Marathon, formerly The Governor's Cup, starts in Molt this morning, and wraps up in Billings in Pioneer Park! There's a full marathon, half marathon, 10k, 10k team, a 1 mile and a 50 yard tot marathon.  The event is free and brought to you by the Yellowstone Rimrunners to benefit youth programs...
