Why I’m Failing With Fitness
In 2016 I lost about 60 pounds, 40 of which I've put back on. If I keep on the same track, it will be all of it and then some. So what's the reason I'm failing? I hardly move. I mean, don't get me wrong...I walk to my car in the morning...then from my car to the building...then to my desk where I sit for hours at a time...then to the studio... You see where I am going. I'm not alone. A lot of us have that kind of job where we sit for long periods of time, yet are somehow exhausted when we get home. This isn't an excuse, it's the reason for why I can't keep the weight off. Genetics play a big role in our health and fitness, but there is something that trumps even DNA - PHYSICS! If you take in more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. If there is a deficit you will lose weight. There...I just demystified a multi-billion dollar industry at no charge.
