Pretty cool to see the NFL team that represents our US capitol region show respect to the legacy of a legendary Blackfeet Nation leader and his family from here in Montana. But why did the Washington Commanders, as the team is now called, host a private ceremony instead of a public ceremony?

Montana's Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) is fighting to get recognition for the Blackfeet Nation and the Wetzel family here in Montana in the midst of a Washington turf war over a new stadium.

Native Americans and a North Dakota-based group called the "Native American Guardians Association (NAGA)" are hoping to bring the Washington Redskins name back to the NFL, but they're being blocked by an outfit funded by the white liberal George Soros.

The Washington Commanders. That's the new team name for the NFL's Washington Redskins. That's right- The Washington Redskins go from honoring a Blackfeet Tribal chief...to calling themselves "the Commanders." Way to go woke white liberals.

During the segment Jones brought Missoula's Migizi Pensoneau into the room along with 7 other Native Americans...

There's been a debate over the last few years as to whether the Washington Redskins should change their name to something less insensitive to native Americans.
