I don't think I've ever had a bad Prime Rib in Montana. I mean, if you're going to serve a bad Prime Rib, Montana isn't the place to do it.  You will definitely get called out on it. So, really the question may be about value and sides.

I've been asking around the station for some input and I expected to get a lot of "Jake's", "Rib and Chop" and other places known specifically for meat. What I got, however, was a lot of Pug Mahon's. I love Pug Mahon's (especially the carrot cake), but I've never thought of them as a prime rib joint.  Apparently, they have a good prime rib special every Friday. I've been warned that they typically run out a little early, so I'll probably show up shortly after five.

If you've got another spot to recommend, please leave a comment.  I don't mind paying a little more if it's worth it.  I just don't want to pay an extra $40 for ambiance.
