Dierks Bentley to Perform ‘I Hold On’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finale
'America's Got Talent' will wind down its latest season tonight (Sept. 18). The popular talent competition will do so with a little help from country star Dierks Bentley who will perform his brand new single 'I Hold On.' While most performers seek fame on the 'AGT' stage, Bentley is bringing a dose of already established star power to it.
The live finale airs on NBC at 9PM ET and Bentley will take advantage of what is sure to be a ratings bonanza to perform the lead track from his upcoming seventh album 'Riser.' It's a perfect setting for the father-to-be to ramp up exposure for both the track and the album. The finale and coronation episodes for reality competitions usually attract huge audience shares, so Bentley lucked out by snaring this spot.
He's not the only country star who'll take the stage. Luke Bryan will also play before the $1 million prize winner is announced. Earlier this summer, Brad Paisley hit the 'AGT' stage performing an emotionally profound version of 'I Can't Change the World.' It was a memorable appearance and now Bentley and Bryan have the chance to follow up and do the genre proud once again.
