Police found the man they think is responsible for hurling a full beer at Dustin Lynch last month, and they’ve contacted the singer to see if he wants to press charges. During an interview with ToC, Lynch explained his next move and shared a few more details about what happened at the Mullet Festival in Niceville, Fla.

Lynch says that the unidentified man is going to get away with the crime, because he doesn’t feel like doing the paperwork. "I decided that on my day off I didn’t want to file police papers, and what are they going to do to the guy anyway?" he says.

The ‘Hell of a Night’ singer has a nice scar beneath his right eye as a result of the incident, but doesn't seem to be too bothered. Previously, he explained his immediate reaction to the beer-pelting. He told ToC it was a Coors Light ... a full Coors Light!

“It was ice cold,” he adds. “Why would you waste a perfectly ice cold Coors Light?”

‘Hell of a Night’ is the second single from Lynch’s ‘Where It’s At’ album, the follow-up to the chart-topping title track.
