Glenn Beck Leaving Daily Fox News Program
Television personality Glenn Beck announced today that he will be ending his daily 5PM program on Fox News.
According to the NY Times, Fox News and Beck's company, Mercury Radio Arts, will "work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News' digital properties."
Beck -- who also hosts a syndicated news program in the mornings -- has been with Fox News since 2009, though the Times says he has been contemplating an exit for some time. In the meantime, no official end date for the program has been set.
For Fox News, this may put a dent in its ratings, as Beck's program, aptly titled 'Glenn Beck,' averaged 2.2 million viewers per evening.
