I see the Huntley Project Players are doing "Ungreased" this Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. And I know that they would appreciate your attendance.

But it got me to thinking about my years in theater. I was an actor and stagehand. My vast resume includes Woody Allen's "Death Knocks", playing Hellen Keller's smart-mouthed brother in "Miracle Worker," and my Mister Rogers bit I did as a humorous solo at meets.

My senior year they held auditions for "A Christmas Carol." Several parts required singing. So, for my audition, my buddy and I sang "Good Hearted Woman." I was given the role of a dancer with no lines.

I still have many of those friends from high school theatre and a lot of great memories.
