Another Billings Burger King Has Closed… And Only 3 Remain
A year ago, Billings had 6 Burger King locations scattered across the city. Now, we're down to just 3 remaining.
Bye Bye, South Billings Boulevard
Over the weekend, it was discovered that the South Billings Boulevard location of Burger King has closed, and the owners provided a handy list of other locations you can still visit to get your flame-broiled burger fix.
Earlier this summer, Michael shared details on Mix 97.1 about the downtown Burger King location closing, the entire building, and the former downtown U.S. Bank drive-thru location being razed.
Also, Burger King on Grand Avenue has been transformed into a B.W. Blacksmith Coffee & Grill location.
And now, with the 3rd nail in the king's coffin, Burger King on South Billings Boulevard has closed.
Where Can I Get My Whopper?
If you are still hungering for a Whopper, you'll find them at the following 3 locations across Billings (well, Billings and Lockwood).
For the Heights, their location remains open at 820 Main Street.
For the "West End" of Billings, BK off of King Avenue West at 790 King Park Drive also remains open.
And finally, the Burger King in Lockwood at 2813 Old Hardin Road remains open.
What's Next?
What do you think should be put into this location? Personally, I would LOVE to see Shake Shack come to Billings... and it would be a nice "central" location in the city to plonk one down! I also miss Steak N' Shake... though that burger joint is best suited for sitting down and eating. The drive-thru was as slow as a glacier if I remember.
