National Boyfriend Day

Since every day of the year has to be at least five different "Something" Day's, today happens to be National Boyfriend Day. According to questionable statics that litter the internet, only about 40% of girlfriends even know there is such a thing and only an even smaller percentage of those plan on actually doing something for their boyfriend.

My guess is that this is a "new couple" thing. You know, when you're super lovey dovey at the start, before reality and comfort set in. I mean, I am of course a hopeless romantic so things never get stale with me. Kidding...well, not about the hopeless part, but anyway..to those of you mushy, make-out-in-public types who celebrated this day, I can only think of one real reason you did: You want something for Girlfriends Day on 8/1/19.
