Over the weekend, three Salvation Army bell ringers in different states set a new record the longest continuous bell ringing session.  After 105 hours of collecting donations, the bell ringers in Texas, Minnesota and California agree to stop at the same time and share the new record.

The new record holders easily surpassed the previous mark, which was set in 2012 by a man who rang a bell for 80 consecutive hours.  As part of their record breaking attempt, the men were granted one short bathroom break every hour.  The real winner was the Salvation Army, which raised thousands in contributions, including nearly $30,000 during the Minnesota event.

Paul wondered if Mark could even stay awake for 105 consecutive hours.  The answer is no.  Mark admitted that he would probably fall asleep after 105 minutes.
