Santa + Photos With Guns = Uh-Oh [VIDEO, POLL]
Quick, which of these combos seems slightly off -- Santa and reindeer? Santa and Mrs. Claus? Santa and high-powered weapons?
Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range, in suburban Atlanta, is hosting an unusual food drive on Saturday, in which people can pose with Father Christmas, as well as an AK-47, AR-15 or FN-SCAR-17.
Only people over 18 will be allowed to hold the guns, which won't be loaded, in the photo.
Casey Retterer, who works at Sandy Springs, says he knows the promotion is bound to get folks worked up:
Firearms are such a hotly debated item that you're going to have people on both sides of the fence and you're going to have opinions flying."
One customer said he doesn't understand all the hoopla, noting, "It's for a good cause. It's for charity so I don't see any problem with it whatsoever. If somebody doesn't want to bring their kid here, just don't."
What do you think?
